Default Depends how you drive...>>

Yeah, well you knew that. If your parking garage is right off the intersate and you just blew past everyone at 80 mph to your exit, yeah you're going to want to idle the engine for a while before shutting down. Like me though, I spend the last 1/2 mile driving through a neighborhood at 20 mph in 3rd so by the time I get to park the car, there's no need for a cool down.

I actually do have a Defi unit combo boost guage/timer. Still has to go on the car. The nice thing though is that you hook in the timer to the parking brake. If you set the brake, timer functions. If not, no idle period after key removal. And you can abort the timer function if it's started by releasing the parking brake and re-setting.

Still need a sig...

Wow. You must be like me. I have never backed down from racing other euro vehicles on the interstate on my way into work or at lunch. So, Sounds like I need one anyway. What's the cost? Is it an easy install? I have yet to modify my Quattro TT and am getting anxious. I'm a former e30 m3 owner.
