Default Two hours for an oil change...dealer svc ratings?

Is there a place to rate and read rating of dealerships on service? My experience today with my first oil change @3,000 miles (@my expense) was horrible. Incompetent. Two hours later, after I asked twice, they pulled my car out of the parking lot and said "it's done".

Oil and filter do appear to have been changed.

Gotta check local service shops or how to get at that filter myself.

Default call aoa and complain. that seemed to do some good when i did it...

i got a call from the dealer the next day apologizing.

i still refuse to take my car back to *that* dealer, but as they're in alabama and i'm in ohio, i don't think it'll come up.

i was just pleased to see that the appropriate channels do seem to get some response...

I'd glady exchange you 2 hrs for a dealer that doesn't bang up my car.

Default Most dealers will get to it "sometime" during the day...

I usually have to drop my car off around 7:30 AM, and they're usually done by 4:00 PM or so...

Default Don't feel bad, our dealer wanted 4 hours to change the DV

Everything seems to take at least 2 hours. Dealer explained that they have to hook the car up to their computer for a 'long time' for every visit to diagnose car. Don't know why they need to do it for a LOF, but thats our dealer's excuse.

Service is still a sore spot with the entire Audi experience for me. I'm sure there are great dealers out there. But wish some were in the Boston/South area.

I don't get to vote on my dealer. One is somewhat close by (45-60 minute drive),2 are somewhat drivable to get to (1.5+ hours away).

Speaking of service. 1000 mi before our 20K service. How many weeks does this service take?

Don't know where you can see the ratings. I am curious myself if there was a list of dealers and their ratings.

Default that would certainly be an incentive for dealers to try a tad harder than they do now (which isn't..

a lot in my experience). But if you are landlocked to only one dealer, then it is kind of moot at that point.

The attitude of the dealer's service dept I go to needs to be 'adjusted'.

There must be some sort of inside rating system that Audi uses. I'm tired of seeing the signs at the dealer to make sure we give a perfect rating when they call. They should earn the rating, not tell people what to rate.

I have only given one (1) perfect score to a phone rating call in the past year or 2. That, of course, was when they called about my 10 year old Honda that was at the Honda dealer for a minor service. They earned the highest rating across the board. They did go above and beyond (fixed a non realated problem for free, washed the car, open late - til 8pm )

Audi earns the rating I give them (mostly 3's and 4's). The Audi dealer gives no extra effort IMO. I can't figure out if it is a German car thing, Audi thing, or what.
