Default Ummm, how do I re-aim the windshield fluid spray-dealy???

The driver's side one hits the windshield about four inches from the base... I was going to ask the dealer to do it this morning during my 5K service (flawless, BTW), but had a brain-spasm... As you know, I prefer the no tools/gentle coaxing/subliminal/hands-off technique to auto repair. Anyhoo, if you think I need experts to assist in this venture, please advise. This will be my first mod - whoo-hoo!!! Except the time I opened the metal front thing (there's a clever little pull latch inside) to remove pineneedles and a dead cockroach (eccchhh!!!), but that was kinda by mistake...

Instruct the grasshopper!!! Oh Wise Forum Ones... ;-)

Default Just take a safety pin or something and use it to re-aim the "spray-dealy". It rotates...

on a ball joint of sorts. A tiny adjustment makes a big difference so be gentle. Also, for added fun, aim the drivers side one far to the left so you can spray left lane hogs as you pass them...

K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple). Take it to the dealer and let them do it.

Default Safety pin??? Where would I acquire such a thing (tool??)? Does Porter Cable make those???

Ok, ok, I'm kidding, luckily I have loads of 'em as my dry cleaner uses them to attach those insipid little tag thingies to my shirts (after I had a "scene" about iron-in labels -eccchhh!!!). Against my better judgement, I will try your recommended procedure. If it fails, expect to be greeted by a very crusty Rahuligan, with safety pin in bandaged hand, at Logan in a few weeks... ;-)

Default Actually, my dealer doesn't even do the safety pin trick anymore, they just replace them when they

go out of alignment since they break easily with the safety pin.

I've had 3 replaced.

Default Here you go Rahul . . . do NOT use a safety pin, not the way to do it.

Default that's because using a safety pin is the wrong way to do the alignment.

I posted the correct procedure above.
