Default Ummmm, I'd like to acquire a lower User ID number, please advise...

Whenever I read a post and it's from somebody I don't know and their User ID number is in the 2X,XXX range, they are automatically classified in the "newbie (newby?)" category, which makes them somewhat suspect and of questionable character, IMO... Hey, I live in New Hamster, where people don't say "Hello," unless they've known each other for like 50 years... So, this is all fine and dandy except for the fact that my User ID # is 20,550, which is pretty far from "Old School" on the forum...

Anyhoo, I'd like to be somewhere in the three-digits. I want people to see my User ID # and tremble in fear and awe. dammitt.

So, how does one go about getting a lower number??? I'm assuming these numbers are assigned sequentially, etc One mechanism would be for people leaving w/o backsies (i.e.: Sandra & Art) to auction, sell, or bequeath their User ID #s. In other words the purchase and/or inheritance of entitlement. Or, for the Omniscient Forum Gawds (OFGs) to have a big ol' User Id purge and eliminate all the dead user ID's, accounts that remain inactive for say 6 months...

Any thoughts???

Default I'm looking for someone desperate and with a number < 1,000...

but will keep you in mind, if I fail to find such a candidate.

Incidentally, what would something in the high 4000s, cost one??? Gasp!!! You're not talking money, now, are you??? The shame...
