update on 'morse code' cd interference thing,..
well i dropped the car off this morning and about an hour ago (only an hour and a half after i dropped it off) the service manager called me back to say he had gotten in contact with audi and they are working on a new coaxial cable to correct the issue.
i had printed out the page with the correction that had been posted here, and he said that audi was aware of that solution but that in fact, it did not fix it all the time and sometimes even caused more problems, and audi was saying they should not do that repair, so they won't (which i am fine with.)
he said that audi estimated the new cable to be ready in about 8 weeks.
so, if any of you have the same problem, looks like we get to wait until january.

don't listen to certain CDs with quiet passages. Unfortunately, this eliminates some of my favorites so it's good to know that there may be a fix in the near future. Thanks for the update.
