Default Valve: Bailey vs. Forge

In another couple months I plan on having Atlanta's "Autobahn Performance" do a MTM Stage 2 (chip + exhaust) job to my 2001 225 TTR (brilliant black w/baseball glove leather.)

I figure that with the shipment delays, I should get my hands on a DV valve before I get the work done as I am hearing honking already (1500 miles so far.) I've now started to hear some negative talk about the Forge valve, but have yet to hear anything bad about the Bailey.

Any comparison's out there (at least based on spec)?

Also, I really will likely need to get the springs (especially front) stiffened - way too much bottom out and understear to suit my tastes at this point. And I may want some better vented brakes. Any and all suggestions are VERY welcome. I sold my 2000 S4 for the TT and don't regret it, but the performance is not yet where I'd like it. Thanks guys!

I don't recall reading problems with either. Everyone that has them has praised them both.

Default Actually, Brad Willis had a Bailey fail on him, AWE made good on it.

That's the only failed Bailey I remember reading about on this forum. MichaelTT and 225TTR (Ellen) have one of each and reported no problems. I'm sure they'll give the real poop when they get a chance.

Default I read today of weird noises on the Forge

I was also curious if anyone could make heads or tails of the specs on the valves as they may indicate which would handle the heavier load on the MTM upgrade to the 225. However, reading the specs, seems to indicate some rediculous numbers as far as tollerences - numbers neither would ever need to hit. Just curious as I like the way the Forge fits, thought I'd try that one. The previous posts about odd noises on a 180hp had me concerned is all.
