Default VENT (my wheels)

the old ones :P

OK so one guy had a point on the $1300 (well I started high) so I've now said $1100+ shipping. But since putting them on the Vortex board I've had.....

<b>"one guy tell me I was tripping for that price, might as well buy new"</b> HELLO? new OEM wheels without ties would cost $2600 and even the 5 spoke replicas / refurbs are $1000 a set.

<b>"one guy offer me $800 shipped"</b> yeah nice try (points awarded for asking)

"then some guy local to me who has scuffed up TT wheels wants to swap his scuffed ones for my mint ones + some cash - errrr thanks but no thanks

Ebay here I come LOL

OK vent over, needed that, back to my contract

Default I hear it would have gine much better for you if you had managed to puncture the...

..TOP of your gas tank. It was the BOTTOM thing that really killed you.

Default Errrr....Don't say I didn't warn you!........>>

Be patient, hold firm. Someone reasonable will wander along. I had a guy post to my ad that my wheels were a bargain after seeing the pics. Said others have paid as much as $1500 on Vortex.....FWIW

Default I came very close to buying the same wheels you did...

One of the main reasons I didn't was because I didn't want to mess with selling the old ones. Plus, I decided that I really kind of like my 5 spokes alloys, and I like that rim saver that protects the face from scuffs under many circumstances.

Having said that, your new rims do look very nice!

Default so my $1300 was reasonable then :)

I'll see what ebay kicks out and then I'll hold firm. Yes you did warn me, but man....

Default Remember most Vortexers are in their 20's and have limited funding - not like

alot of people here who drop $5k without blinking. Personally, I'd pay no more than $1000 plus shipping for those wheels, unless the tires were brand new. I sold my 6 spokers for $500 with blowtenza with 5k miles on em. Sure a couple had curb rash - but I was realistic on my pricing.
