Default votes for tires to replace OEM ones....

what tires have you used , if one wants better summer performance (without risking your life in winter), and no need for snow performance?

I don't have them on my TT, but I've been happy with Toyo 4's on my VW and my Saabaru.

Default Iv'e had...

The P-zero Rosso's twice- good allaround tire and very quiet. Michelin original pilot sport once- better dry performance but quite loud.
My next set is either Pzeros again or PS2's depending on price. The Ps2's are supposed to be quiet yet have the performance of the original Pilot Sports.

Default See my Kumho review a few down. Also-

I'm getting Falken 451 I think in about 2w. Goodyear F1 were most highly rated by EuroTuner.

The 712 Ecsta lasted 34K, an excellent all-around tire, not a top performer in any category. Just yeoman-like daily driving tires.
