Warranty types ?
I was going over the books provided with my new 225Q, and see in the Warranty manual there are several types of warranties, including:
Limited New Vehicle Warranty
Audi Advantage Maintenance Program
Basically, it says the Advantage program covers just about everything the Warranty does not, including wheel balancing and alignments, which my Audi dealer ways were NOT covered, except for the 1st one.
Any thoughts on this?

The book is correct, your salesperson is not...
If your dealer refuses to cover something under the terms of the Audi Advantage, call AoA to complain, then find another dealer...

Ron, that is consistent with my experience: I questioned an early decision made
by a dealer, and AoA instructed them to go by the policy as stated in the AAMP warranty.
How's the new ride treating you? Where will you take it for servicing?

My salesman said the same thing. He also said brakes, clutch, etc were not covered (wear items)
He was wrong. Service advisor cleared it up. Got to love how the sales people are trained!

New ride is GREAT!! I was thinking of taking it to Dover, as they have
been good to me before, but, I got a call from the salesman (at Ira) yesterday, and told him I noticed that the (inside) hatch release did not work, and he said that he could have someone pick up the car.
I then said, "And they'll bring me another to drive while they're working on it?"
He said Yes. Yeah, right! That'll be the day - just for a minor issue like that.
