Did anyone bring a laptop with Windows 2000? And USB ports?
The 3400 is the upgrade to my DC280 I think or maybe the DC2909. In any case, Windows 2000 has digicam support built in.
Have your Win2k CD handy (it's probably on the hard drive for preinstalled copies from the big mfg's like Dell and Compaq) and plug the camera into the USB port. The "Windows has found new hardware" wizard should start.
Pretty sure if Larry is there he knows what I am talking about. Hell, if Larry is there he has a DC290 that takes CompactFlash and I'll betcha he brought a laptop. (which implies that he's not there or you wouldn't be asking)
The driver is 40MB and that sucks.

I ended up taking 105 still & quicktime movies combined today. Some of them actually came out well too! ;-) I've uploaded a few shots to share with family & friends right away. I'll upload the rest when I get to Maine on Monday night (if I'm not too tired).
This has been an amazing weekend so far. I cannot express how grateful I am to the guide dog school. It just makes the whole puppy raising experience Alex and I are doing more real for me. This is Alex's second dog and I can tell already that they is going to be just as special as the first dog. Just look at that face!

http://public.fotki.com/o2bnme/puppy_pictures/alexs_new_dog/dscn0416.html</a
