Well it is about time....
After several long months of reading this forum, I have taken the plunge and purchased a 2003 225TTQR, Black/Black for just under invoice from Classic Audi in Eastchester, NY. (Larry is awesome)
This is my first post. I have waited patiently to be in your fine company and am excited to share with you all the joys (and costly mods) I will experience as the proud owner of a TT.
This being said, is there anything in particular I should check out when I get the car? or any cool features that I should be sure to use? Hopefully the weather will clear up by then, so I can take her topless. It looks like rain in the New York area till friday. Anyway as you can see I'm just really happy to be part of this whole thing and hope to see you all on the road. (in my rear view mirror =P)

Congrats!!
Not much really to look for at delivery. Make sure all of the basic car functionality is working. Test the top, privacy shield, and stuff like that. Do a careful walk around and inspect the paint for any defects. Check the wheels to make sure they aren't curbed anywhere. Many of the old odd TT electrical gremlins have been fixed.

Welcome!....check for any residue from ....
the protective shipping coating the dealer is supposed to remove from the body. My coupe had little specs of the sticky residue in a few spots. Part of the problem was I rushed them too much at delivery time, but still, it should have been spotless. But most of all, just drive, drive, drive and enjoy.
