Default Well......I know 99.9% of the people here already have a TT...but if you know of anyone

looking for what I would call a nicely modified, impeccably cared for TT Roadster that also happens to be pretty quick, let them know that you know someone that has one for sale. ;-)

I would love to find the right buyer and sell it as it sits, I would prefer not to part it out as I feel it really is just about perfect. Of course, at the end of the day, if that is what is necessary to sell the car, I will let you vultures know what parts are for sale =-)

email is

kswerks at gmail dot com

thanks to anyone who speads the word.

BTW, has anyone had any success in the for sale joint in here?

Default Wow......>

Good luck Sean. I ultimately hooked up with a Buyer on Autotrader after de-modding. He was an Audi gyuy so the work I had done (and undone) did not scare him. Had the word out on all the Audi enthusiast forums for quite some time at a reasonable price fully modded with no nibbles. Ultimately got $5K more out of it by demodding...Good luck. What's next?

(I'd buy YOUR car if I was in the market!!)

Default yeah, we will see what happens. Obviously I would love to find the right buyer

for the right price that liked it as it sits but that is not always realistic.

I would probably remove alot of the stuff but I am pretty sure I dont want to remove the Stg 3, just not worth the cost involved.

What's next?
I really dont want to get rid of the car, the wife has not said a word either but I am slowly realizing that I am not using the car much anymore. The best opportunity I get to drive the car is a 15 minute ride to work during the summer (since I dont drive it in inclement weather)

Anytime I go anywhere with the family for the rest of the time I own this car, I will have to pick my wife or my daughter to go...not both. Not really a choice I can make and for now, neither are going anywhere. At the end of the day, I just want something else that I can enjoy on my own AND with the family.

All kinds of crazy ideas are running through my head.

One side thinks I should sell the TT and the Jetta and get one multi purpose car (S4 convertible, M3 convertible, EOS etc) and the other part says keep the Jetta as the daily, sell the TT and replace it with something a bit more reasonably priced but possible just as fun.

Thoughts of a MK1 Cabriolet with a 1.8T swap with a APR Stg 3 added for good measure has been dancing through my head too....I dunno, I guess let me see what happens with the TT first and I will go from there.

Good thing is I really wont be upset of the car does not sell...right away or at all and I have plenty of time to figure it out.

If you get rid of the roadster, how is she going to keep that lovely wind-blown look in her hair?

Default Having seen this TT in person, I can attest that it is one beautiful piece of work, outside,

inside, under the hood, everywhere. Just gorgeous.

Sorry to see you parting away from this thing.
