Default Well, major pain, but definitely worth the effort >>

Just getting started...

Gratuitous shot for all you snowbirds ;-)

"Lights out"
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/2-2407_036.jpg">

Lights in "several hours later..." and at this point it took another hour and a half just to tweak and adjust the lines in relation to the hood and the bumper:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/2-2407_046.jpg">

And last (poor) pic, as it was well dark; I still needed to reinstall the wheel shrouds and tires after finally reinstalling the bumper...

No kidding - seems like I bought spare headlight housings about a year ago, then smoked corners, then finally got around to the bodywork to lose the reflectors, then got the paint - that part of the process alone ended up taking something like 2 months from the time I started with the putty filler till I hit the last clearcoat with rubbing compound... then needed a good weekend day to pull the bumper, bake the lights, etc. - last thing I needed would have been to damage the new painted housings, or somehow damage the reflectors inside the headlight assemblies, and that damn butyl rubber caulk everywhere - argh - but finally, "success". And all the lights work too. Now for a drink! ;-)

Default Very nice, and I like your modding weather much more than mine.

Got about 8 inches of snow in the driveway now and half the garage full of crap so only one car gets to stay inside. Poor BMW, used to be my baby and now it's second fiddle.

Default didn't I tell you I was "almost done" about the time you did yours? ugh. >

hey - the shop I did my quafe at was really impressed with the rear seat delete - they'd never seen one (ahem; speaking of "familiar...") ;-)
