Default Well, words really can't describe how disappointed I am right now

The dealership had the trip booked for a couple of months now. Originally, the owner(Mark) and our former GM(Fred) were slated to attend. Therefore, the flights were booked as such. When I took over a few weeks ago, we tried to change the name on Fred's plane ticket. Apparently, you can't do this and we would have had to buy another flight. Of course as a few of you know, we're in a dire cash crunch right now and flights got really expensive, so Mark and I decided that I would try to fly as Fred using various documentation that we still had around here.

Long story cut short, I tried my damndest, but they wouldn't let me board. Mark even offered to buy a ticket on the spot, but I declined, knowing how things are with us right now. The flight would have been like $1500. One of the most important days in my professional life and here I sit.

How long would it REALLY take to get to Detroit in a Murcielago?

Default Starting now, to make it to the meeting......

I'd have to average 387mph. A little beyond even the Murcie's capabilities

Default Sorry to hear that Jason. Have you tried hotwire.com or one of the

other online sites that let you set a price range and they give you what is available. It may take 1-2 stops to get to Detroit, but you'll be there nonetheless.

Default Sounds like Mark . .. .

has some faith in you to offer the ride anyhow.

Feels like a good move to decline his generosity.

Your time will come, on the good side . . . you can say effing a$$bag all you want this weekend.

Stay by the phone, just in case.

Default Ah. I was thinking that you needed to be there for tomorrow.

I guess you would need that new 400mph motorcycle then.

Default Jason, I'm very sorry to hear that. We were looking forward to

a mini GTG. I hope things work out for the best. Catch you at TT East?
