hey folks. just saying hi. it's been a while since i've posted and i like to make sure you guys are keeping out of trouble.

i also have a suspension question. i've been running koni and eibachs since about 65k (i'm at 115k right now). think they are toast after 50k of city driving? i think they may be. i'm considering KW V1's, but would like to know what ya'll think could work for a guy that likes a fast, tight ride, low to the ground and does not track the car.

thanks!

Default Hi Andrew - I really like my V1's, but nothing to compare to >

They're a stiff ride, you'd probably love them - good at keeping the wheels on the ground over bumps/dips, great road feedback.

Default Are the Konis not lifetime replaceable? I have had all my PSS9's replaced at one time or the

other due to various issues and Bilstein has been very good about replacing.

Default I have V3's....fantastic (when set up properly). Had H&R coilovers >>

and no comparison. Different league altogether. In fairness...not sure if H&R has improved on their design or offer an upgraded version

Default they are, but I dont know what their "lifetime" is. I will give them a call.

To be honest, I am saving my pennies for a proper statis coilover set.

Default I got them at HPA, Jan of '04 >

DBA as "KW Suspensions North America". $1225 +50 shipping - I got the all stainless setup (I seem to recall there's a galvanized option); the install was about an hour/wheel plus alignment - easy; and yes - front c/o's are correct. tcarbon might have a better price - at the time HPA was the North American distributor; they answered all my questions, including some after the install. I've reset the height myself a couple of times - also easy.
