Default welp the summer rims are now on....

and I paid $20 lol...3 lugs where froaen as sh*t glad I did not try it myself...torque wrench in hand and anti seize applied it was $20 well spent...I think I'll buy a beater next winter this is not worth the effort...and considering this winter cost me almost a $1000 in damages a beater would be well worth it..

Default my winters are still on. trying to sort out details since my summer wheels

won't fit due to BBK and ET25 on the LMs. just put an order in for wilwood BBK setup. hope that'll fix everything. we'll see. in the meantime, maybe i should replace my worn Dunlop M2s with all seasons and call it a day until the BBK gets installed later early summer.

Default I had a frozen lug bolt last fall

I rounded off the corners trying to get it off myself, so I went to Discount Tire. The guy there tried a pneumatic impact wrench with a special socket and busted his wrench -- 350 psi. Then he went up to a 500 pounder and busted that one too. He gave up.

So I was forced to take it to the dealer, who soaked it with WD-40 for a few hours then tried their wrench. They got it off, charged me $175.

I learned my lesson and coat my threads with anti-seize now! Had I gotten a flat tire somewhere I would have been screwed.

Default Good call on anti-sieze-

I know Tire Rack syas don't use it, but I have done it for years, checking torque on the lugs, and they won't back out.

If you DON'T use it, you'll end up with the frozen nut syndrome.
