None, as long as you keep same rolling diameter (here, it'd be with a 225/40/18 tire)

Is there any need for suspension mods w/ 18"s & how do they effect handling & perfomance?

As long as 'rolling diameter' is +/- 3%...nothing

I have 225X45R17, if I went to a: 245x35R18 to be 0.9% different.
