What happens when you have a bad coilpack?
I'm experiencing major problems.
At about 3k RPMs at WOT, the car starts to stutter. Kinda like its misfiring or something. Very inconsistant power. Thanks for your inputs!

here is what happened to me....
well if it happens in green river Utah you get a fun tow truck ride to Oren. and then you get to explain to the mechanic how to test and replace it. but as far as when it happens. you get a check engine light that flashes at your in a not good way. and you car runs super not happy as it will be a 3 cylinder 15v turbo. and if you drive it too much you can trash your cat as there will be a large amount of un-burnt fuel going in to it.

i don't really know what area you live in but we are in the Denver metro area. i bought a vag-com and a lap-top to run it after that experience. i would also like to thank apr for having such a good lock out on there chips. It saved my warranty as the dealer tried to scan for the chip and only found the stock program so i got it fixed under warranty.
