Default Is this what my water pump should look like?

Just had someone do my timing belt, water pump and tensioner roller.... this looked ok, so I decided to re-use it. =o)

Default sell it on ebay, high performance !

Mine was worse, the impeller was almost nothing... my question is why wouldn't audi just spend the extra 5 cents and make that impeller metal in the first place?!

Default cause they want you to spend more money on your car after your warrenty is up

All parts are made to fail after so many miles. That is how they keep there suplyers in buisness

Default well look at this one.....

my window failed to roll up, so i took the door panel appart, took out all the guts to find out that audi decided to make our windows roll up with a pully system. This pully system consisted of plastic pullys and a metal cord, that over time, wheres out the pully, making it fail. Now instead of buying a new cord or even a pully, you now have to buy the whole thing as one part. Not cheep, unless you find it online
