Default Watched my buddies Vette get Dyno tuned ...>>

The other day. he had headers and high flows put on. The programming software allows the tuner to desensitize the 02 signal for CEL free operation. I thought that was pretty slick..

Default my understanding is that>>>

you can get this from any tuner....but you need to sign a waiver as technically it is illegal as you are tampering with emissions....

That said, a call could not hurt...

Default Was interestring to watch..>>

He did a Baseline dyno run with a Wideband in the exhaust. Then looked at the A/F ratios and tweaked them throughout the rev range to get 13.2:1 which he said is the best setting on the small block. Then tweaked timing, 02's, fan speeds, etc to get it all in Harmony with a few follow up Dyno pulls. $400 for the 4 pulls and the tweak. Or buy the $500 open architecture program. all I'd need is a wideband (hmmm!) and a LONG stretch of road!

HP Tuners software for the Cheby

Default See that is what>>>

we should be able to do with the TT...but i fear the complexity of the 1.8T in its current form would not allow that unless you went to stand alone management.
A couple of things...

1- i do have a wideband o2 gauge kit...;-)
2- your link was to the Hummelement pic! ;-P

Default Ooops...Link fixed...>>

Seems the guys that have figured out how to crack the Motronic keep that stuff pretty close to their chest. Think of the Billions spent with them cause they know the secrets..

In the domestic arena, there are Millions and millions of potential recipients to spread the wealth to, and volumize the costs..

I know you have a wideband for rent!
