I know this topic has been beat to death, but going to get new tires to complement my ride soon. I have Toyo Proxes FZ4's and really dissapointed with them. Horrible rain tire.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s. I live in Seattle and the wet grip is absolutely unbelievable.
With quattro hooked-in this car us utterly unstoppable in the rain. I'm actually scared to push it, the limits are so high. Also a quiet dry tire with great performance: grip like mad; excellent feel at the limit. Only complaint is that there's not enough turn-in response (trade-off between stiffer sidewalls and sharper turn-in vs. more comfortable ride and softer turn-in).

yeah, but you have a 225, Tim, not a 180!!!!!!!!!
a 180, you need Dunlap SP9000. I ran the S03s and I thought they were great in the dry but lacked in the rain. SP9000 are awesome in the rain and 'good' in the dry.

Hey John, read on what Matrix Engineering said about my suspension....>>>
Justin said that he would try to set the rear shocks on full firm. He thought that this might solve the jumping in the rear. He thought that full soft would make it jump more. This doesn't sound right. Shoot, I had a Ford Probe with Eibachs that did not jump like my TT. I think its either bad springs or bad shocks, in that case I will return both and go with H & R Springs and Bilsteins, at the expense of Shox.com.

As long as the tires are the proper size and have the appropriate load rating & speed rating...
...it doesn't matter whether they're going on a 180 or 225.
The Dunlop SP9000 is a fine tire too.
