Default What real gains can you get with the O.CT FMIC......
I know that the claim is 20 degrees cooler...What enhancement in performance??? It seems expensive and alot of work pulling the front off. Just wondering if it is worth it...I DO live in TX...so probably good idea...Need opinions.

Default You retain the horsepower you have after extended
periods of driving....due to a cooler charge going into the motor...remember heat can rob a car of close to 25% of its hp...
So a fmic keeps it cooler and retains the power you start with...no gains per say...

You <b>GET</b> horsepower...
When you normally wouldnt.
You do <b> NOT gain</b> any hp though.
It keeps things cooler, and thus they are able to produce more hp in warmer conditions. Don't be worried about removing the front end.

Default Yes it is worth it. Your car will run stronger in upper RPMs. Very noticeable in hot weather. One of
my best mods.

Default I can help with the install if you do it.
I've had the front off my car before and seen an install of a Forge FMIC in person. I bet Kevin would be happy to do this on the side if you need a real tech. He said you had been in the other day :-)
