What size torx?
I'll be replacing the half shaft/axle assembly on the pass front side in next week and I need to know what sized 12 point torx bit I need to get the assembly off the transmission? It looks like a 12 (at least it's about the size of my six point E12 socket) but I'm not sure. Anybody know?
Any other special tools I might need? Tips/tricks?

Man I've looked everywhere. I need what looks to be about a T50 or T55 with twelve point star instead of six point star.
Harbor Freight didn't even have them. I've been to three different auto shops and one dealer.

It's not a torx
Autozone used to have a set of three.
