Default What would cause this?

Ugh is all I have to say......

I'm in the process of having a law firm evaluate my case for a buy back, because of the numerous problems I've posted before, but, in the mean time....

I just got the car back a week and a half ago for the KO4 turbo charger that came apart internally. Now, ever since I've gotten it back, we notice an anti-freeze smell when sitting idle at stop lights and sometimes after getting out. I don't see any leaks, and I've been checking the level, and so far it's okay, but I'm probably going to take it in AGAIN. What could be causing this?

One good thing though, is now that we got the car back, it seems considerably faster than before. The technician said that probably the old turbo was never quite right from the start and therefore the noticeable difference.

I'll be glad when this is all over....I think we're going to get the 3.2.

Default check the hose that is in the way way back of your engine bay

there is a hose covered by some silver sleeve stuff and it runs to the heat exchanger inside the cabin.

I saw a TT at work that had a leaking hose and replacing it fixed a simmilarly described problem.

Default I hope so, but....

It has been about two weeks.....would that be an excessive amount to burn off without me noticing any?
