Default Whats the best Spring & Shock.......

package out there for better handling without
much of a rough ride?? I have 18" wheels on
my 2002 TTQC.

(Without breaking the bank !!!)

Default Not as big as an issue as chips...

Most agree that the shocks should be Bilstein sports. Springs are divided between H&R sports and Eibach (sp?). H&R drop the car a little more.

Basic cost... one TT mod unit (i.e., $1,000) installed (+/-)

yeah ABT springs are suppose to be pretty good with the Bilsteins to...

If memory serves, I think Eibach makes the ABT springs (?)

I have Abt springs w/ Bilsteins...excellent "sporty"ride.

Default yeah but arent the abt rears different shaped then the standard eibach rears?

not sure about spring rates though in pounds..

Default I have the Bilstein PSS9's which have adjustable damping and ride height...

If you want a softer ride turn 'em down. If you want a nice tight ride crank 'em up.

The harshness is all relative though. I don't think it is too harsh at all. I've only had them for about 2 weeks but have REALLY enjoyed them.

I dropped about 1.25 inches.
