..might have been a voltage spike.

Which one of these <a href="http://store.42draftdesigns.com/Fuse-Style-LEDs_c_39-1.html">LED replacements</a> would work? The 39mm or the 42mm? I know they are the fuse style bulbs.

I used this <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/threads/455952.phtml#1805588">post</a> as a reference...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1730247.phtml">FAQ help</a></li></ul>

Default Use the 39mm fuse style, as I read the site, the 42mm are not specified

for license plate use.<ul><li><a href="http://store.42draftdesigns.com/145v-White-39mm-Fuse-Style-LED_p_39-32.html">14.5v White 39mm Fuse Style LED</a></li></ul>

Default I actually measured the OEM bulb and it was exactly 39mm..>>>

Currently have 42DD LEDs and they have been working great for about a year now with no problems. Nice, white, and brite. It even lights up the ground at night.

Default If you are looking for a local replacement: Sylvania # DE3423 ..>

The Sylvania # DE3423 can be found in many local auto parts stores. I measured the one I have in my housing and it's 36mm.

If you find the cheap crappy plastic clip on the housing is cracked then take a look at the URL link. If it isn't cracked yet, it will be soon. I used RTV silicone to strengthen the clip and that seems to work well as an alternative to buying a replacement from the stealership.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1805581.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1805581.phtml</a</li></ul>
