Wheels from "Wheels and Caps"
This is related to my thread below, has anyone purchased wheels from these guys? Seems like a great deal.
I have also considered hartmann's but they are a bit pricier.

Re: Wheels from "Wheels and Caps"
I have seen those from WAC. I am skeptical due to the price for four. Country of manufacture is not shown.
Their ad states they are identical to OEM. They are not if they are like the photo in the ad. OEM have the reveal indentation all the way around the perimeter of the triangular opening between the nine spokes. The WAC photos show the reveal fades to none about 1/2 way to the center of the wheel. They are definitely Replicas not exactly line OEM.
Personally, I prefer the look as shown and as Hartmann has it. Before buying from WAC, I would ask in writing the company of manufacture and the country. If they are made in China, not Italy, I would pay the extra for Hartmann or go for OEM from a discounter that would guarantee the authenticity of OEM.
BTW wheels are only part of the equation. Tires and the load rating of the tires and the tread type is vital too. Today was our first rain and the roads were very slick. I could not be more pleased with how my Kumho Ecsta SPT
235/40x18XL 95Y tires performed on my commute. I already know they are good and are quiet on dry roads. Now I know they handle and brake well on wet slick pavement too.
