When can I spec out my TT Roadster?
I'm first on the list here in Nashville for a TT Roadster. Does anyone know when I should be able to sit down with the dealer and specify the colors and options for my car. (BTW, my dealer allows their customers to choose options - not all cars come in fully loaded). When will the dealers be receiving this ordering information? Also, any ideas as to when I should actually get the car?
I'm REALLY looking forward to buying the car, as I sold my S2000 yesterday to free up the money for the TT.

Re: When can I spec out my TT Roadster?
Hopefully your dealer will get an allocation in January for your car. I received one allocation for a 225 HP coupe this month and I let my customer spec out the car. It is due to arrive in April 2000. We did not receive any allocations for the Roadster.

Re: When can I spec out my TT Roadster?
As you know, the dealers are told nothing!! My dealer received notice that he was allocated one 225 coupe. It is his belief that the roadster will be allocated next month, with delivery sometime between the end of March and May. There appear to be some differences in the options (I will be the 1st and when I get my choices I will pass them on)

Re: Didn't like the S2000?
The S2000 is a nice "toy" to be driven at the extremes, but as a normal, everyday type car, it's lacking.
Since my Mercedes CLK430 Cabriolet is due in next February, and my TT Roadster sometime after that, I decided to go ahead and sell the S2000. That, and the prices have really started dropping on the S2000 resale market.
