Where to go in LA?

Not exactly Audi content....sorry

I'll be in LA at the end of the month, and I'm looking for some good places to go.
Disneyland, Vegas, and Universal Studios are all on the list so far.

Since I won't have a car over there, I'll have to bus and subway....but thats ok with me.

Can you guys suggest any good restaurants and local beaches in the area? I'll be staying in the Korea town area, so anything that can be reached by public transportation would be nice.

One more thing (sorry), how far is it to Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive??? Girlfriend wants to go there, but I haven't got a clue

Thanks

No car? that's tough...

You really got to have a car to get around LA. Go to Monterey Park "Midway" rental and get the cheapest car avaliable. I think its like 20 bucks a day or so...

Other places to visit

Melrose, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Sunset, Glendale, South Coast/Fashion Island(Irvine), Monterey Park for Chinese food, J-town for Jap food and K-town for Korean food. Tons of good restaurants around...

Too bad I'm not in LA no more...or else I could take you around...:<)

Disneyland, Huntington & Venice Beach. Beverly Hills is a waste of time

Whenever I come back to Cali.. I always eat at dive mexican taco shops. Vegas is hotter than hell this time of year.. but worth a trip if you don't come down south all that often.

Compton and Watts are great spots - you can get there by

taking the Blue Line light rail system.

Why in the world are you staying in Koreatown? Take your credit card and make a reservations at any of these hotels: Shutters On The Beach, Loews Beach Hotel, Casa del Mar.

Glendale? hmm! When did it become a tourist spot? That's where I live...never heard of people...

coming to LA and stopping at Glendale as one of the spots to see! What's of interest here for a tourist? Glendale Galleria?

You can take the rail system down to Long Beach, into Downtown LA..

where there are some great museums, over to Wilshire Blvd. where the LA COunty Museum of Art is. Catch a cab to Beverly Hills from there. Not far.

Oh well...

Glendale used to be one of my hangout places back in my USC days. I guess you are right! It is really not a tourist spot. All I did there was going to the mall...nothing really special there :<P

You went to USC? Awesome! I just transfered to USC, will be attending this fall...how old are you?

Are there any other trojans on AudiWorld?

I have a few relatives that live there, and I actually like it. Its different from where I live now. Some people say its dangerous, but I haven't seen anything bad happen yet.
