whining from engine bay figured out....
Apparently 25 psi was a little too much, and the turbo well....blew. What can u do? The TT will be stabbled in the garage for most of the winter while I work on a solution to this problem. It's one of those mods you wish you never "had" to do, but always talk about doing. So, any suggestions or ideas on how to bring 'er back to life would be much appreciated. Turbo kit is in the future...which one is still undecided being that there is no good solution. Waiting to see what up with del rio. If not, thinking about keeping it european with maybe a k16 or k26 or something along those lines. Going to be a winter of braintstorming......

Do NOT go with KKK...too many disgruntled customers>>
and we all met up at the picnic. Search around....surely there are US brands that spool faster and are much cheaper.
My KKK16 I hear is ~$3K!! nonsense!

The whining...is it loud? or somewhat subdued? Do you get any boost at all?>>
I've been hearing a whine for quite some time now. Understanding that my blow off system was inoperable leads me to believe I've been killing the turbo. Just don't know who to believe anymore.

Petervan, ask around on the b5 S4 forum, they have an audio clip of a dying turbo.
It is pretty unmistakeable if you know what it sounds like.

As for that code #..?hmmmmm. perhaps that reference to liberals I made (actually....meant nothing as I embrace both liberal and somewhat conservative ideas) to encite a riot (didn't work). Or, the off color remark toward having to kill my ex-wife (a riot indeed!!).
Or, maybe they tag certain folk who are childish enough to spend big $$ on stuff that causes grief....just incase they have some worthless property to sell. : )
