Default This is why dealer service sucks !!!!!

Dropped off my car this morning for dealer to investigate a problem I had noticed with rear brake pad.

Also asked them to perform an oil change (not covered by Audi since I am at 14,000 miles) using the 5qt container of Mobil 1 I had provided prominently placed on passenger side floor.

Service advisor types info on job order.

I pick up the car this afternoon and pay the $34 for the labor and oil filter - thats fine this dealer bills $80 an hour for Audi labor and the oil filter was $9.

When I get in the car the 5 qts of oil are still sitting there.

Now it's 4:30 so I walk back in and the Service advisor is dumfounded that they tech hasn't used the Mobil 1 provided. He had used regular dinosaur oil !!!!!!!

Now they have to bring my car back in to the shop, drain the oil and replace with synthetic.

I told them I wasn't driving it anywhere until it had been changed.

God help us when we are actually paying $80 an hour for this cr@#

BTW typical response to original problem - could not duplicate customers reported problem

That's why I tape a note over the oil filler cap and on the steering wheel...

Default We had the 45k for our Avant last week - since filter isn't included I asked for it to be - brought

in exactly 3.7q's of Mobil 1. We wait for the car to be done - and when I get it - no filter on invoice! So - they had to go buy more oil - and then drain it and replace the filter. I just don't understand the oil change without a filter thing. Why not just replace the filter! Geez.
