why in the hell are my KW's creaking?
after having them on for about a year a few months, the suspension is very creaky and squeeky now... it's worse upon startup rather than if i've been driving for a while. what's the problem?

Hmm...

Is it the front right creaking? :-P
On a serious note... you sure it's the KWs? My rear suspension creaks when I step out of the car. Few people said it's probably the sway bar(?)
The good thing is... if it IS the KWs and something's wrong... you have the lifetime warranty.

my guess is that it's not actually the KWs
but rather, bushings attached to something else- probably the sway bar.
i had a TON of squeaks/creaks and they all got fixed today, AFAIK.

pick one of the following:
-rear tie rods were replaced
-front sway bar squeaking
-one front inner CV boot replaced
-left side of the sway bar in rear was loose where it attaches to linkages
-bolts on the lower shock bushings had come out somehow and there was metal on metal contact, bushings weren't even in play anymore
also put in new springs... and new rear shocks... and a poly dogbone mount.
most of those things listed above were making noises of some sort. i doubt the springs were a problem, i just wanted to change my old UUC out for eibachs.
squeaks/creaks are most likely caused by bushing problems, though- sway bars are the likely culprits.
