Why would my ECU be shorted out between two pins following a broken t-belt? Anyone have a used one?

I would characterize those events as unrelated. Having both at once, bad karma..

Default if you have an ECU that was soldered in...

and if a jumper wire or solder joint got loose.

happened to me with an APR installed chip.
