Default Will a faulty longitudinal sensor harm my car?

The ESP/ABS lights have both been coming on randomly and I've recalibrated the longitudinal sensor...turning them off. But it still comes back later (not all the time). I'm not ready to dish out $150 so will it be okay for me to drive it in this condition for the moment? Thanks for all the help

No, it won't harm the car. But it may harm you if the ESP/ABS fail to pull your butt out of the fire
