Don't know about the RWs but CD-Rs play just fine. I've burned at least half a dozen compilation CD-Rs for my TT.

The conversion from MP3 to .WAV files and burned, don't have great sound quality yet...FYI

I think it sounds great, as long as MP3's are not compressed to much.

stock changer has handled every CDR I've thrown at it (including the 80min), even the real chip ones

Default 256 bit rate or higher MP3s make it hard to tell difference from real thing on stock TT equipment

Of course on finer audio gear, or home gear for that matter, you can tell the difference.

The real quality issue with Napster MP3's is what software/hardware was used to make them, and what source was used. The are clearly some inferior MP3 encoders out there! If only the files were marked with what encoder software was used.
