Window cleaning hell. Please advise.

Window cleaning hell. Please advise.
I am having a helluva time getting my windows streak-free. For some reason the insides especially are getting a coating which must be evaporating formaldehyde or something from the interior plastics. Funny it should get worse after a year. Of course, smoking in the car has nothing to do with it...
I have tried to following:
Zymol glass cleaner
Windex with Ammonia-D
Aerosol can foamy window cleaner from the auto parts store.
Isopropyl Alcohol
Orange-Glo (not the furniture stuff, the cleaner/degreaser one)
I have used paper towels, and I always take the top sheet off and throw it away when I pick up the used roll from the car care supply hutch aka my storage room. I have also tried Zymol towels (100% cotton, etc.) and white shop towels. I laundered the reusable towels in detergent but no fabric softeners, etc.
What do I have to do? I think I actually added oils to one window with the Orange-Glo stuff.
I am looking for home remedies, witchcraft or even a Zaino product (egad!) I suspect we have some witches out there, so let me have your best tips!
Thank you very much.
And before you ladies go off, a man can be a witch, too, so don't take offense, it's a joke.
Ivan

Re: Window cleaning hell. Please advise.
I really can't understand why you are having such a difficult time with this...
you have an oily film that you keep pushing around with your rags. what you need to do is use soak a towel with soapy water and wipe the windows really wet, and do it a few times, wringing the towel each time. once the oil is off, switch to water and clean off all the soap, rinse the towel each time until it's just plain water.. wipe the window down with a terry cloth. it should be clean.. if there are slight soap streaks, use a clean rag to wipe those away. you can also use crumpled newspaper. That actually works best if you don't want lint, but it may take some elbow grease, since it's much tackier.
There's one other thing that will work great too, but will cost you more.. You can wax your windows with a spray on car wax (which dries to a haze) and wipe that off. I use "Classic Quick Wax with carnauba". This stuff is amazing and the easiest, quickest way to maintain a showroom
shine on your paint, windows and chrome. Spray, wipe it on, let it haze, then wipe it off. Done. Buff with a clean terry cloth, if necessary.

Well, try this..
...the glass cleaner that I normally use is called Clearvue i believe. Check Autozone/Pep Boys etc...
Now, get this: take a full sheet of newspaper and crumple it up loosely to use as a cloth. Give the offending window a medium coat of spray and use the newspaper to scrub it with until it's dry.
This has worked for me in the past with really bad window film.
Good luck.
Jason Dale

Sprayway Glass Cleaner
It is the best glass cleaner known to mankind and makes quick work of auto glass film. Really, it works like magic and you'll never go back to Windex.
It IS, however, hard to find, though Lowe's carried it in the past (some do, some don't), and Restoration Hardware also carries it...

OT-Bracketracer: Notice dealer had 225TTR on rack, prep for delivery. Is this the norm? If (more)
so is this typically done on most vehicles prior to delivery? Just curious. Thanks.
00'180TTQC,Brilliant Black,Tinted

If by rack you mean alignment rack...
I would hope it would be standard before delivery. I have been told by several mechanics that cargo ship tie downs can mess up the alignment on the trip over...
