Default Window switch adj?

01 tt 225q

On the door locking striker there is a small plastic switch that controls the window creep- when you open or close the door. Is there an adjustment to the switch ? The switch works, but seems out of adjustment.
Thanks

It's actually inside the door on the lock mechanism. Quite a few of us have replaced it with a switch from radio shack.

Now if your window is simply not going all the way up or down, that is not a micro switch but simply a window reset issue.
". If your windows do not drop and raise
when you open and shut the doors,or if the one touch does not work ,it's
because the battery has been disconnected and the window drop memory feature has not reset.First raise the
window all the way up then release the switch then hold it up for 1-2
seconds ,this will reset it."

I can get the window to "creep" up and down , just as it should , by pushing the black plastic switch with a screw driver .
Seems like it needs adj. Is that possible ? Or does the whole lock need to be replaced?
Thanks for all....

The button on the switch often breaks or wears, along with the rubber coating on the cam which actuates it. A new switch from radio shack has a longer "button" and overcomes this. Good Luck! You do have to modify the mounting a bit by drilling the holes out slightly.
