windows auto open/shutting

Not if you're willing to give up some other functionality and not through VAG tool.
If you're doing it because of tint, there is a fuse you can pull to disable power windows (amongst other things).

That routine is there to get a good seal on the top. If it doesn't do the drop and up on opening
the door, you will be putting a side load on the glass every time you close. Not sure you really want to go there...

Re: windows auto open/shutting
The bentley manual offers instruction on how to disable all the window functions, but it looks like it's all or none and they do drop up and down for a reason, some Mercedes models do this also so we're in good company.

Could you tell how ? I dont have a bentleys manual ..
I live in finland and we have cold winters, lots of snow and ice. Thats why I like to disable auto open/shutting mode.
