Woohoo!!!! My 3.2 TT is on a ship :-)
Build week 47 (last week), already shipped from Germany and it's due in San Diego port on December 19th.
Can't wait!!
Hey Brad, do you still have that link with all the boat schedules? I'd really like to "track" this baby ;-)
Thanks!

Mine, too? Port link
Mine was build week 47 and, as of last Friday, it was "through factory inspection, but not yet on a ship." I gotta call them back! Thanks for the update.
The port link is below.<ul><li><a href="http://www.sdmis.org/schedule/">San Diego Port Schedule</a></li></ul>

Re: when did you order it? Metro Audi in San Diego told me 3-4month lead time..that true?
Ordered on Oct. 6th and got a commission number immediately. The order was entered in the computer by the sales manager while I was standing there, and 2 min. later had a printout with all the details of the order (model, colors, options etc.) so it was apparently accepted into the system on the spot.
I was also told 3-4 months by the sales guy (not the manager) but he seems to be generally clueless anyway..
Overall though 12 weeks seems to be standard. I'm just happy mine may be here before X-mas ;-)

Thanks for the link! strange, however..
that Audi distribution said it was on a boad called "Morning Power" and that it would arrive in port of San Diego on 12/19.
According to the link you sent however, this boat is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme CA, on 12/20.
Any thoughts?

They didn't tell me which ship...
The 20th is a Saturday; perhaps Audi rounded to the closest business day? I hope that the dock workers aren't too "festive" with the coming holidays. I'll bet my car doesn't make it to Reno until the new year. Still, January's better than February.
