Is it wrong to cry because I sold my home?
I know it seems weird to a lot of people, but I've only moved twice in my life:
Once to go to college.
Once to move into my first house I bought (and just sold.
Everybody else I know thinks I'm weird because they moved so much when they were younger, but I lived in the same home until I left for college. I didn't think I'd be this sad to sell my house :_( Even though I get to spend some money on the car because of it, I still miss my house already (and it's only been an hour).

It helps if you have another place to live first.
But no, when you look at what was an inanimate object when you purchased it, and over the years has become place where so many memories (good and bad) were made, it becomes much more then a building. Knowing somewhere that provided you shelter, comfort and a sense of security for so long will soon be off limits too you can be a little bit of a shock.

It's hard to say which would be worse...
I always think I can get another car that will eventually equate, but I don't live in the car (some weekends are differen though) and it just feels different. Never thought I'd get this way about a house, but then again, I'd never really moved before either (college didn't count, it was like camp.
