I happen to live in the great state of Washington where all cars must have mounted front license plates. I recently purchased a 2000 TT from a private party here but they brought the car from another state that did not require a front license plate. The previous owner never bothered to get the plate mounted in this state so now I'm responsible for that. The local Audi Dealership wants $78 for this silly piece of plastic, which is a tad absurd, so I'm hoping some fine TT owner out there might have an unused mount at a more reasonable price. Can anyone help me out? Even if you could point me to some sites online that might sell them cheaper (i.e. cheaper Audi OEM sites possibly) that would help immensely.
