Default Xenon's... will they eventually need new bulbs or need to be replaced?

Just got to wondering is the factory Xenon's will eventually need replacement/new bulbs. With their high cost, that is sure gonna be a bite.

I think the whole unit is sealed? If so, new ones required? Just wondering...(35 of 50k miles already driven) things are starting to look expensive.

I know on the S4, it's just a bulb swap....Pretty sure the TT is the same.

The cost for the part for 1 unit is $1030, per a recent estimate on bodywork.

Default Make sure you turn them on whenever you drive the car so you'll get them...

...replaced for free under warranty before 50K.

I beleve the unit is integrated, and you cannot just change the bulb, but I could be wrong on that. Sorry, don't know about anticipated longevity or the rest.

Default Whew! Mine are on every time I drive (more) . . .

But they're on to be (better) seen by other drivers, and not to get them to burn out . . .
