Default yet another DV post... but different

Is something wrong or .... it doesn't seem to matter what kind of DV I put in my car, it loudly leaks boost under full throttle. It's to the point where I wonder if something else has gone wrong where maybe the car is asking to open the DV and leak it around - it's only under pedal to the floor application, and the sound and resulting unexpected non-power is sure confusing. Part throttle is strong, and much more quiet.

This is not brand new, perhaps a month - but not at all it's "normal" long term behavior.

No CEL, I need to do some runs and log boost though to see if I can figure anything. No obvious cracks in any tubing or lose anything that can be seen from on top of the engine.

Perplexing...

Default maybe - but I don't know how that lets turbo boost leak by?

Are you thinking it's so confused by what the airflow is that it's acting like too much boost and shunting it? Hmm...

Could account for the periodic power drop-off-- more input from the experts?

Default Check for rubber cracks right against the metal band edges.

You're sure to get these if band is overtightened, less likely otherwise.
