to ocTTober's house to play with the new ps2. sounds like indoor games are in order for the next day or so. :-)

Congrats. Did you have to buy one of the 'Game Packages'? I had to at KB Toys the week of Xmas.
Still wasn't bad, considering the prices on Ebay and the local newspaper. The game package at KB was for $495.00 for the PS2 and choice any three PS2/PS games. Anyone want to offer their suggestion for a must have game?

I did end up having to get a game package....I got the Family Fun Pack which includes...
Madden NFL 2001
SSX Snowboard Supercross
Ridge Racer V
Not too bad, though. I like to have some starter games and many people are paying $500 or more just for the game console. I'm psyched!

My wife got scammed rite before Christmas by a crook called "in the biz" that was selling ps2's on Amazon!! He insisted she send US postal money order, said paypal took too long...needless to say he took her money and others too and NOBODY got a ps2 from this crook!!

Although I have resigned as a prosecutor (effective Jan 1), I ran our Computer Crimes Unit and we have active internet fraud investigations including Ebay/Amazon scams just like yours. I will make sure the appropriate authorities get your info or I will point you in the right direction.
