Default 08 MK2 TT FSI Overheating

Howdy All!

I've been searching around the forums and haven't found what i've been looking for. My TT is about to turn 159K and i have run into my first issue on the vehicle. My oil is now climbing up to 240-250 degrees and it is forcing the coolant level to climb with it. As the engine oil warms up the coolant stays at the neutral middle location and as the oil climbs above the normal operating temp of 217 you can see the coolant meter climb. I don't here any items slaving to work but am concerned because I can even gently accurate up a mild hill without the meter spiking to the red. What do you think the cause of this issue is? I haven't done a timing service yet; I may take this as an opportunity to to that maintenance and upgrade other components.
