2.5 liter 5cyl tt rs question
Guys - belt /engine question. I have owned multiple s-cars and now looking for an audi tt rs mk2 . Miles will not be an issue but years will be. Is a timing belt replacement - prudent or required?

The 5cyl TTRS engine has a timing chain rather than a belt. Info at the link.

As mentioned it a timing chain, depending on mileage you still need to replace upper/lower chain, guide and tensioner. All available as a timing chain replacement kit.
