2008 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro - Bad idea?
Hi all,
Longtime Volkswagen driver looking to (finally) jump into an Audi as a daily driver.
Have an opportunity to buy a 2008 Audi TT 3.2 automatic coupe, test drove very well but I have no idea what I could be getting myself into after looking at the Carfax.
Here are the major details:
- 205,XXX km
- 4 previous owners
- Two previous accidents based on Carfax report:
- 03/15/2011 RIGHT FRONT SIDE $10,785.00
- 12/22/2017 RIGHT FRONT CORNER $3,695.00
Are these accidents/costs a deal breaker?
Cheers,

When was the car sold to each owner? If it was shortly after each accident, I'd pass. I'd be more concerned with the age and mileage, not just a TT but any car.

whats the price and what is your ability to deal with the issues a car that’s 10 years old with mileage inevitably going to encounter?
if this is a $2000 car, you are handy or have access to people who are, and have a little cash tucked away to deal with issues preventatively, I’d go for it. If not, the risk doesn’t seem worthwhile at all.
