Hi there!

New TT owner here! Picking up my car next week! I was wondering if anyone can pass along any tidbits/information/issues encountered regarding the 2009 TT 3.2L coupe? I've read reviews about how the previous model TTs used to eat up alot of oil and that you need to do oil changes more than what they suggest in their manual. I was able to have the dealership throw in the Audi Care and it does still have the 4yr/50k mil warranty so I'm hoping there isn't too much I need to deal with?

I do have the prestige package which includes the NAV/Bluetooth system, seems like overall it's okay. Considering that this is the 3.2L version and not the 2.0 version I'm guessing I won't have to worry about the timing built. I bought this used (was a corporate lease w/about 5,400 miles and the 5k service was already done)

Another question that I have is, should I follow the manual and put in premium gas? The dealership said you don't have to but I'm a bit skeptical about that...

I guess that's all I have for now. Definitely excited take this car on the open road, just wanted to be sure there aren't anything that I'm overlooking. Thanks in advance for all of your responses!

Had a chipped 2002 TT quattro to 98,000 miles and it never burned any oil. Used Mobil 1 0-40w.

You should only used premium. The engine can compensate for a lower octane but over time can cause problems as the engine is designed for 91.
