2010 TTS Suspension Options?
So I purchased a 2010 TTS a few months ago from a dealership who told me that the previous owner changed out the springs in the suspension so it had a little bit of a sportier/harsher ride which I was cool with. But the rides gotten more and more harsh since I’ve had it so I took it back to have them look at it and they tell me the last owner had actually just cut the original springs and it had ruined the rest of the suspension and that I was basically riding on the frame of the car at this point and that it’d be almost $5000 in parts to replace the magnetic ride suspension. I know nothing about shocks or anything but I’m looking for a cheaper option. I’ve seen some coil over options but it seems like those range from $500-$5000.. so I’m wondering what you guys think, if anyone’s replaced their suspension and what you used or would recommend using. Thanks guys!

Are you saying that the magnetic shocks must be replaced as well?
If not, I would order up some aftermarket springs. There are many to choose from and I'm sure others will post up what they use and like. I use MSS Springs but they are on the pricey side. Of course, they are amongst the best and do have a "street" option which has a rather nice ride. And the ride height is adjustable.
If the shocks are toast, I would absolutely consider coilovers. You're spend would be considerably less.
I haven't done tons of research on specific makers. Do some searches here on "springs", "shocks", etc. I'm sure you'll find more information.

I recently went through the options for suspension replacement. Having previously replaced the springs with MSS, I wanted to keep them and the lowered ride height. I also found an OEM source on line and stayed with the mag ride as it was equivalent to converting to after market coil overs. Check out www.audiusaparts.com and they can hook you up for about 25-30% less than dealer on OEM. Hope that helps.
