Default Obviously done by someone that does not know TTs

1. Contrary to what he said, all 1.8L Mk 1 TT did have a compact spare. I believe the 3.2 and TTRS versions did not.
2. There is no inflatable spare that fits in the wheel well of a Mk 2

Thanks for pointing out the difference in the 1.8L MK1 TT - Much appreciated.
Also, there has been one spare combo that does fit. Took a lot of time digging for across various forums, but there is 1. If I come across it again, I'll post it.

Thanks for the feedback!

There is a blow-up spare that works for the Mk 2 size and bolt pattern but it does not fit in the well. I've seen an old British TT forum post of a guy who carved up his well and added a layer of plywood on top to fit a compact spare. However, European models do not have the hump in the middle of the well that looks like where a spare might attach. So doing what the Brit did will not work unless you cut out the bump which is not recommended since you are cutting into the frame.

That might have been what I was thinking of :-/
